Absolutely. We always welcome flyer images for posted events. Just send us the images and we’ll get them posted. But, please, avoid sending huge images, keep it under 1mb.!
Who are you guys?
We’re a small group of folks who love music. You might say that we eat, breathe, and dream good tunes.
Are all your featured shows a guaranteed good time?
Nope. As much as we would like to provide perfect recommendations, everybody has different tastes. And, sometimes, shows don’t turn out as expected. But we try our best to recommend the best music available.
Why did you guys create Loudfarm?

Loudfarm began with a simple idea: Give musicians a fair share. We believe that the musicians who deserve public recognition and acknowledgment should receive it. That makes sense, right?

We aim to cut out the politics and the economics behind music. We’re replacing it with good, old-fashioned tunes. That’s why we don't automate or randomize our selections. Instead, we select choice music picks, carefully chosen after reading through our daily show list.

And we review shows, too. But we’re not here to tell you what’s best. Instead, Loudfarm is based upon supplying you with all the resources needed to make your own decisions. Whether you’re looking for music, videos, or images, we’re your one-stop shop for music in the Bay Area.
Why do only selected shows have reviews?
We try our very hardest to make this site an awesome spot. But we don’t boast major funding, which usually sustains a large editorial staff. For this reason, we try to avoid stressing out our writers. That’s why we grab a select few shows and write about them.
Can I write for Loudfarm?

Definitely. We are always looking for great writers. Here’s what you do: Email us a couple of writing samples, especially clippings that pertain to music (but it can be anything at all). We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Send sample writings here.
Why do you offer mp3's and videos of the artist?
Words can only go so far. Here at Loudfarm, we complement the editorial content with multimedia bonuses. Whether it’s mp3s, live footage, or music videos, it’s about your own decisions. You choose what you like, see live, or buy at the record store.
Where do you get your media?
We always look for mp3s and videos online. From our browsing, we select the multimedia that we find most appealing to viewers or most representative of the artist.
I am a Loudfarm featured artist and I’m not happy with my media. How can I change it?
We browse the web to supply mp3's, videos and images. From that, we choose whatever we believe to offer the best impression or most accurate representation of the artists. We are happy to change the multimedia content, provided that it is already uploaded on another website (meaning, people can still access it). Unfortunately, however, we don't have the system capabilities for you to perform these actions yourself. But we promise to change the content as quickly as possible.
I would like the media for my artist page removed. How can I remove it?
Just shoot us an email at (contact@loudfarm.com) and let us know that you want the media removed. If you want to replace it with alternative media, let us know, too. We accommodate both options.
Why don’t all your artists have media?
Some artists featured on Loudfarm are managed by what is commonly called the “Big Four.” These are the four major music labels. Generally, these labels do not approve of other websites and companies advertising their artists without explicit consent. So, while we enjoy and support many “Big Four” artists, we stay out of trouble and play by the rules.
Do you sell tickets?
Currently, we do not sell tickets at Loudfarm. But we’re working on getting that feature up and running. So, stay tuned for those updates!
Can I download songs from Loudfarm?
No, Loudfarm does not offer musical tracks for download. While we do feature songs on the site, they’re purely for listening purposes. This is because we grab our music from an online search engine, ultimately finding mp3s provided by a slew of websites (all with their own hosts). For that reason, free downloads just aren’t possible. But, if you want to buy the song, you can always visit an online music store and purchase the mp3 or album.
Can I use Loudfarms Content?
The short anwswer is yes, as long as you put a link back to the page you got the content from. We license all Loudfarm content under a creative commons license.
