FAQ's

Can my event be featured on Loudfarm?

Yes, it can! We just ask that it be a music event, or musically related. Submit the event by clicking on the link below.

Submit event here.

P.S – Be sure to submit event listings at least 7 days before the event date. This will ensure that people see it and send it to their friends, too.
Can I submit a flyer image for an event already posted?
In short no. We try and stay away from featuring events as a whole. We want to focus more on the artist than the event.
Who are you guys?
We’re a small group of folks who love music. You might say that we eat, breathe, and dream good tunes.
Are all your featured shows a guaranteed good time?
Nope. As much as we would like to provide perfect recommendations, everybody has different tastes. And, sometimes, shows don’t turn out as expected. But we try our best to recommend the best music available.
Why did you guys create Loudfarm?

Loudfarm began with a simple idea: Give musicians a fair share. We believe that the musicians who deserve public recognition and acknowledgment should receive it. That makes sense, right?

We aim to cut out the politics and the economics behind music. We’re replacing it with carefully chosen, worth while acts that we predict will blow your mind.

And we preview shows, too. But we’re not here to tell you what’s best. Instead, Loudfarm is based upon supplying you with all the resources needed to make your own decisions. Whether you’re looking for music, videos, or images, we’re your one-stop shop for your live music needs.
What are previews?

Previews are our way of giving you a 'what to expect' writeup. As you know we are not always 100% accurate of what the show is going to be like but we try our best to descibe the act's live performance.

You can also contribute your preview to any act on our site by going to the act's page and clicking 'write a preview' (make sure your logged in through facebook connect)

Why do only selected shows have previews?
We try our very hardest to make this site an awesome spot. But we don’t boast major funding, which usually sustains a large editorial staff. For this reason, we try to avoid stressing out our writers. That’s why we grab a select few shows and write about them.
Can I write for Loudfarm?

Definitely. We are always looking for great writers. Here’s what you do: Email us a couple of writing samples, especially clippings that pertain to music (but it can be anything at all). We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Send sample writings here.
Why do you offer mp3's and videos of the artist?
Words can only go so far. Here at Loudfarm, we complement the editorial content with multimedia bonuses. Whether it’s mp3s, live footage, or music videos, it’s about your own decisions. You choose what you like, see live, or buy at the record store.
Where do you get your media?
Videos are pulled from a google search and Music is pulled from Soundcloud. Thank the gods for those websites!
I am a Loudfarm featured artist and I’m not happy with my media. How can I change it?
Unfortunately we dont have control over what media is displayed since this is an automatic process. As much as we wanted to make sure all media is 100% related to the artist and place the best pieces, we realized this was just a bit too much for our team. You can always change your profile picture by just replacing it with another link.
Do you sell tickets?
Currently, we do not sell tickets at Loudfarm. But we’re working on getting that feature up and running. So, stay tuned for those updates!
Can I download songs from Loudfarm?
No, Loudfarm does not offer musical tracks for download. While we do feature songs on the site, they’re purely for listening purposes. This is because we grab our music from an online search engine, ultimately finding mp3s provided by a slew of websites (all with their own hosts). For that reason, free downloads just aren’t possible. But, if you want to buy the song, you can always visit an online music store and purchase the mp3 or album.
What are RSVP's?
RSVP stands for répondez s'il vous plaît which means "Respond please" By clicking the button RSVP you are letting the promoter (event organizer) that you will be attending the event.
What is the RSVP retrieval List?
We will leave up to your creative use. Some suggestions we might have are;- VIP access - Special Discount - Contest - etc. Please be responsible and appropriate when using these list's.
Can I use Loudfarms Content?
The short anwswer is yes, as long as you put a link back to the page you got the content from. We license all Loudfarm content under a creative commons license.
