Loud Farm

On the surface, the name Thao with the Get Down Stay Down is a little obnoxious.  But then I listen to the music, and I do want to get down.  And since I'm already down, I may as well stay down, right?  Thao Nguyen and cohorts make some very whimsical pop music.  It's foot-tapping fun, with all the elements complementing each other perfectly, from Thao's great voice to Frank Stewart's simple but memorable lead-guitar riffs.  And right when you think things are slowing down a bit, Willis Thompson's percussion comes in to spice things up a bit.  So do yourself a favor, and GET DOWN to the Independent.
