Loud Farm

Geographer's Michael Deni is a man that knows what it means to deal with tragedy.  Following the untimely death of his sister and father, he found himself roaming the streets of San Francisco with a guitar, miles away from his hometown of New Jersey, writing songs that in an attempt to process the complex emotions that come with such loss.  Though there are morose elements to the songs, and given the back story, the lyrics can be devastating.  However, the bouncy electro/new wave accompaniment prevents the songs from spiraling headlong into real wrist-slitting territory, placing them in a weird crossroad between Joy Division and The Postal Service.
