Whereas some bands in the current Garage Rock revival show their adoration for 60's girl-groups by copping the vocal style, Vivian Girls already have a head start in that department.  With shared vocal duties and sparse lyrics, Vivian Girls are free to spend their time investigating the nuances of vintage pop, post-punk, and shoegaze.  And after only one full length album under their belts, these girls have shown they can show off their chops without compromising their punk ethos.  If you've ever wondered what Iggy Pop's Lust For Life would have sounded like sound like if Andy Warhol had produced it, then consider yourself ready for Vivian Girls.
