These are dark days for the music industry. Crystal Antlers are in the unique position of debuting as the last release of one of the most influential and successful independent record labels in the country, Touch and Go. While the recession leaves a high water mark littered with layoffs and economic woe, the band is touring Europe and the US, bringing with them music that is appropriate to the time at hand: soulful, angry, frenetic, pleading, hopeful.
