San Francisco
Lotus has a sound somewhat reminiscent of 60's Jamaican Dance music. The guitars perform as a mellow lead in rhythm and melody, while the drums/percussion follow with the bottom heavy bass lines to act as an accent to the steady leads. There is also an electronic element provided by a the keyboardist that, much like the said reference above, bubble over the remaining rhythm section to pull the songs together. The sound lends a very complicated yet non-pretentious vibe that would easily keep you dancing and the guitar leads and melody will be stuck in your head for days.
