What happens when all the Black Metal enthusiasts need to relax and put on some reading music? Sun O))) happens, that's what. Thirty years ago, Brian Eno helped define the Ambient genre with the release of Music For Airports, an album full of meandering chords meant to bleed into the background of whatever the listener was doing. Flash forward to the present day, and Sun O))) has created a nice counterpoint to that particular model. I tend to think of it as "music for sacrifices"; there are walls of sound so evil and dark, you'd imagine a hole to hell has opened right next to you, and electric guitars are beckoning for you to hop in and see what's at the bottom. It's very interesting and unsettling stuff.
