Bastard Noise is a noise band. Simple as that. Not to be rude but i don't consider this to be musical. Given that it has: 1. Absolutely no song form 2. no real harmonies or melodies in any sort of western or eastern scale 3. No rhythm, i mean come on a lot of great songs are just rhythms. That being said. Its not really about the music, and that's why its the hippest shit in town. This collective of artists, originally formed by in Eric Wood, Henry Barnes and Bill Nelson in 1991, creates unique instruments exclusively for their project. They extract sound beeps bops and boops from all sorts of weird electrical equipment most of which is not meant to be musical, into an enormous polymorphous blob that doesn't stop until the powers out on the entire block. Going to a show like this is like getting curbed by Santa. It hurts a lot; then it ruins all your childhood memories.
